Default Team Losi 8ight and Revo Electric Conversion.

Hello all!
I have recently found some Brushless Li-Po kits for my Losi 8ight and my Traxxas Revo. I have a few questions that I would love for yall to answer. Ok here I go. Will a Mamba Max 7700kV be powerful enough to use in my 8ight and Revo or should I get something less powerful? I am only interested in off-road dirt track racing so I really just want something more powerful than stock. Also if not the Mamba then what brushless motor? What size Li-Po pack should I get? I am looking for run times around 30-45 minutes. I am already getting the MRC Super Brain 989 because it can charge everything I will ever have. Also has anyone done an e-conversion on either of these platforms? If so what kit did you use? Well, that is all for now... Please reply!

The mamba 7700 is for tenth scales, I know that tekno rc just came out with a kit to convert revos to brushless. I don't know of any kits to make the losi 8ight brushless, but you can always make your own kit. Be sure to check out the Electric 1/8 Scale Conversions thread in the electric off road forum.

I found a kit at monsterrc.com, but will the mamba max 7700kV not be enough?

No, the mamba 7700 will not be enough, it will overheat too quickly. It is made to run in a 10th scale truck or buggy not an 1/8 scale or monster truck, they are too heavy and will put too much stress on the motor and esc.
