Could i use my superbrain 959 to charge a 12v gel cell?

Yes, but you have to set it to '2 cells' otherwise it won't work. It'll give you the Err msg... I know from experience. There is an MRC section in the Manufacturers area of this forum. I learned about this there. Been charging my 12v starter battery just fine ever since I learned this tidbit in the MRC threads...
