I think 5,5,5, whould be to light for a truggy i pretty much run the same diff oil setup example i gave you on most track surfaces.

"7k" works fine running the rc8tce as nitro in the center diff for dusty slick tracks but to me "10k" works fine in the center on that condition also just be smoother on the throttle. 7K in the rear diff seems to heavy to me.

I like to drive my truggy for about a race to see how i like it and if i need to make changes to the diff oil .

Its what the driver likes also no matter what it says it does.

Something must be up. A lot of guys are selling off their RC8T CE stuff. I wonder if a new version is coming out.

I doubt it i talked to somebody who works at associated and he said he has not heard anything . I know im not selling any of my RC8tce parts off anytime soon.

I did ask him if anything from the new "rc8b b.2" will fit the rc8tce he said the new wing mount will fit and the alum steering post which i dont see how that whould really have a effect on weight lol.

I think likely people are just looking in some other brand of truggy.
So if anything next year i think there will be upgrades for the "RC8TCE" it could use a few improvents not major i whould say.

Inferno: you dont like the RC8TCE ?

The latest RC8T-CE kits just came back in stock. I wonder if the New Jconcepts elevated wheels and tires will be included ? I also called someone at AE about a updated CE, AE rep said it was only the Buggy being updated with no plans for truggy.

not really. im very very picky when it comes to my toys! also the support was a bit slow for my liking, when i ran losi and hard questions it only took a matter of seconds to get a responce, asking a question about a rc8t took about 3 days to get a responce, not a bad thing but support and communication is everything in my book. i dint go back to losi but thought i would try serpent and hot bodies for a bit.

Oh so i take it you didnt like the stock setup on the RC8TCE ?
Thats what most people including myself runs expect of course 7k in the rear which is crazy

Theres a reason why the Rc8tce treads take longer to get a response never mind i whould say it he he.

Yea the Hb D8T is not bad from what ive heard and seen people driving them on the track i was going to get it but the wear on it turned me away drivetrain mostly.

BOUDIN: Thats cool i can defietly see how LCG shock towers whould help the handling alot not that it handles bad with the stock towers.

Also, i am thinking of getting a BCE Chassis, you guys recommend plastic braces or alum?

Or if i stick with the stock chassis alum or plastic?
