Has anyone found a solution to the warping cva? I am replacing or bending them back after each race day. I called Associated and a guy name Chris says he has never heard of the problem. How in the world can he not be aware of this issue? Every person I know who runs the CE has this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

the bent cvds in my OP are from the angle the front wheels are turned. if you turn your wheels to the full left or right and spin the wheel you will notice that there is a bind spot. that is what causes it i beleave.

I know you dont wanna hear it but the way to stop it is to stop wrecking. I know because mine are bent too its from my wrecks. I guess its a lot better than having them break and I have seen the competition break theirs. Ive bent some of them so bad the cvd rubbed the lower shock mount but it hasnt put me out of a race yet. All the cars have some sort of flaw at least this one wont put us out of any races.

Forgot to mention I bent them just as much on the buggy as I do the truggy.

I've actually bent the rear too, along with several other racers.
I found this on the associated forums.... (have not tried)
"If you would still like to have heaver bones you can order the bones for a Thunder Tiger EB4 S3 P/N TTRPD1874 Thunder Tiger Front CVA Axles (2), S3 $19.99 from A-main hobbies."
Does anyone know if this solution or a similar solution will work for the rc8t?

i have a problem with the back of my truggy wanting to spin out in turns i thought it might be my driving style but i let others drive it and they said the rear was real loose i run 35wt front shock and 30 rear shock and 7-7-5 and pretty much box stock on every thing else .rear hubs are pushed all the way forward.

I have a question about the stock settings. When the turnbuckles are in the inners (A) holes my camber is like positive 2-3. The only way I could get it -2 was to switch to the outer (B) holes. Am I overlooking something or am I making the correct adjustments to get the -2 camber. I see on the Mayfield set up sheet the turnbuckles are in the inner (A) hole and it says -2.

Stop wrecking? I wish, but not a realistic solution.

No I haven't been at the track since Sunday. I moved the shocks all the way in on the tower. No race this Sunday but I'm going up anyway to practice. I'll see what the shock adjustment does. Then I'll mess with the camber. Also the track conditions are usually hard, a little rough and dusty. The track soaks up the water and drys out quickly.
Yes laying the shocks in helped. The back didn't want to come around as easy.

I will be at the wiregrass driving an orange/blue/white truggy if you need any help at all just swing by and bring your truck and radio. We will not be in a trailor so we'll be easy to find. Alot of the handling in a truck can be fine tuned through the radio options and making sure the linkage/brakes are setup optimal.
