Default installing Spektrum receiver in RC10GT2

how do I route the antenna wire it is only about 4 to 5 inches long. does it have to come out of the body

I cut the antenna tube so it's only like two inches long. Then that's all the antenna wire I put up in it, the rest stays in the rx box. It does not have to come out the body.
