ae needs to jump on the bandwagon

Sooo has anyone heard of ae making a truggy any time soon...

gatermaxx 10-04-2007 10:37 PM

Yes, heard it is in the works, heard maybe sometime early next year.

chuchurocket 10-04-2007 10:41 PM

why is ae usually the last one to put out new models...i mean c'mon how long have buggys been out and they just released there buggy a few weeks ago

Ultraspeed84 10-05-2007 03:29 AM

i might get flamed for this. but to me the main reason for AE to be last in line is because they watch see other buggies dominate or truggy then they take those modle's and just perfect it. Kinda like there leting someone else do half the home work and they do the other half... not bad mouthing AE because i did pick up a rc8 and im selling ad2 for a gt2.. i just think they perfect things to make there cars better... just wish they would inspect those hing pins and put the cars in kits and race rollers for people to decide wich they want.

Here’s something to get flamed for, except for the fact that it’s true, American companies in general are usually slow to react and lag pretty far behind their Asian counterparts. Both Losi and Associated are just getting into the 1/8th scale market now. What's up with that?

Chris Brown 10-05-2007 01:43 PM

It's just the forums that associated and Losi choose to participate in. Look at how long both companies have been in electric offroad. They just chose to put their resources into those platforms, and have seen that there is money to be made in other forums now, so they're making those cars now too. Associated has a vehicle for almost every race platform out there. What other company can say that?

Associated has been involved in the disciplines that provided the most competition for them.
Their first world championship was in 1/8 on road. And they practically invented the 1/10 electric stadium truck class.
Don't forget that its only been fairly recently that 1/8 off road has become as big as it is now. Especially the truggy class.
