Default Clutch Spring BREAKING!!!!

I had a brand new mugen alu clutch with mugen 1.0 springs and a mugen clutch bell and only got about 5min of run time with it all and one of the clutch spring broke. Now I have had them break before when the clutch was worn down but im at a lost with all the parts being brand new. Any info on why or how it could happen would be great. I havent tried any more springs yet will have to wait and order some more to see if it was just defective springs but I have now clue what the problem could be.

I had a set of xray 1.1s do the same thing! It smoked a brand new pair of shoes. What was wierd was it broke in the coil.
