Default Is it possible to swap back plates on a .21

I've got an ofna .21 delta force with boost chamber. Is it possible to change the back plate without affecting performance? My reasoning is due to the boost chamber............I have a Revo roller with big block conversion but the ofna .21 doesn't fit due to the boost chamber. I have a old ofna BP .21 that is blown and the back plate would allow clearance for mounting. The BP also has the boost chamber just not as large. Thoughts?
