Hi! I'm planning to buy a 1/8 scale 4WD nitro short course truck and on my list is a Traxxas Slayer Pro 4X4, for a beginner is it wise to buy it? Please need some more info about this Traxxas Slayer or any suggestion (brand) that I should consider. Thanks!

I think Team Associated still makes the SC8. It might be an option for you. Basically it is more 1/8 buggy based than the Traxxas.

Definitely an SC8 over anything from Traxxas...

The SC8 is a brute - very tough, handles great, top quality... It' the only 1/8 SC worth getting.
