Jazz you must have seen me race that's exactly what i been doing, i only raced 2 times inotice that is what the other driver was doing, but i'm thick headed and only know one speed wide as open. I will try and remember that my next time out. Thanks another thing when i go out for the 2min warm up my temp is around 220 when i come in to top off, but have way thru the race it jumps up 255, could that be because i'm on the gas more than i need too?

Hey guys I just bought this engine (p7r) and I was wondering which mounts are you guys using? this engine seems to be sitting a little higher than all of my other engines. Would any of these mounts work:

My friend has a picco p7 evo 2 that is new after breakin and he cant get it to run right. it is his second one, the first ran great this one never seems to make power. We have tried different pipes and tuned till the cows come home. I runs ok but not to the standard of other evo 2's. Last week it developed a low end bog after a bump from the b main to the a main, the bog came during the a main. the temps after that main was about 215f. help please

is the carb sealed ? these motor's have a tendency to leak between the composite and alum on the body of the carb...seal it up and see if that cure's the issues...i bet you it will.
