Default MBX5R shock fluid

I ran my MBX5R for the first time this afternoon. I put Mugen 600 in front and 500 in rear with stock piston and spring. I felt like the oil is very thin. I dont have a great damping. I had to put several spacer to get a great ride height, something like 2X8 and 1x5 spacers at the rear.

Is it me or this is particular to the R, dont have this issue with my old Hyper 8.

Thx for you're help.

With the 5r, it is best to get the long springs so you don't have to use so many spacers.

As for pistons and oil, drill out the holes of a 1.4mm piston to 1.5mm, start with mugen #400 oil, maybe moving to #350 oil the rear.
