unless u are racing seriously, go with the teflon or carbon shoes.

the metal shoes require lots of maintenance and also needs to be change about 60minutes of running. = $$$$

also once u used alum shoes you cant use the carbon shoes on the same clutch bell. the bell will be too rough for it.

Default Werks clutch

I really like the Werks clutch with carbon shoes. These things wear like iron. I have one on my XB8EC w/ Ninja Rossi tuned engine, and another on my XT8 w/ OS Speed. I had one on my XB8TQ and never did wear the shoes out in over a year. Just change the bearings as you would any other clutch system. I run the suggested spring with 1 - 2 threads showing and they run great.

I'm running the Werks clutch with carbon shoes with great success also though not on an OS.
