Thanks for the kind words. It works-out well because it's a lot simpler and faster to paint than my regular Optimus Prime flames. The Fioroni head will eventually be replaced by a proper Reds mill, though.

That thing is gorgeous man, how did you white letter the tires? I'm not gonna lie, don't think I could even run that one. I'd put it on a shelf and look at it and buy another to race.

My XB8 when she's sitting on a shelf....

The tire side-walls were painted by hand. It's very tedious work because the lettering outlines are very feint, so those never get used... And yes, this baby stays on the shelf.

Just finished building/breaking in my .4 and LS5. I think the stock tekno body is hideous so I'm spraying a Jconcepts body and figured I'd just do something loud and obnoxious with the stock body. I gotta admit, while it indeed accomplished the goal of being hideous, I kinda like it.

Yep, you sure won't miss that Right Hand Drive buggy out on the track slodsm or is it a mobile crane without it's boom.

Jokes aside, you've done a great paint job there slodsm.

Thanks! I'm a crappy racer but I do build beautiful cars! Those are Hobao rims. These to be exact:

HoBao #89074 1/8 WHEEL, 2PCS FOR HYPER STAR ELECTRIC BUGGY (RC_DEPOT) US SELLER | eBay

My only gripe is I wish they were a bit brighter.

I painted one tire every couple of days to preserve my sanity. Companies should really stencil their tires, if only for the extra visibility it brings for their product. It boggles my mind that so many companies drop the ball on marketing stuff like this.
