I've always wondered why we don't see more buggies with these type of cut outs (or is it not legal in sanctioned events?). Do you find performance is improved with more air getting to the filter? Also how annoying is it to have to lift or in some cases take off your body to adjust the LSN. I see a nice slot cut out for that too unless my eyes are deceiving me. I have never found the LSN a set and forget affair, it requires just as much tweaking as the HSN.

I'm at club level, I did those cuts out exactly for the air filter (the holes in front, there are now more). I wanted more flow in that area, especially to the filter. I will be at the track Thursday so I'll report on that. Always did it to my truggies and monster trucks. It deff. won't hurt.... if anything help and provide more air to the fins and filter. Seems so restricted there IMO, especially with the splash guard on the other side. But, it's all personal preference, if in theory it worked you would probably see more guys doing it right lol?.. Lifting the body if fairly easy but, I put that cut out there for the servo, so it doesn't have to push the body out for full extension. But now with the cut out, they won't have to lift the body or pull it off. :) Time saving IMO

Really like it. I'll try it on my new body. Only slight change I'd make is keep the roof continuing with black. I'm sure it won't look as good, but I'll give it a go.
