Default tire choice

we just finished to build a new track, the soil is red clay, and the upper layer is quite loamy. we used to use crime fighter/bow tie/jolly/atomic on other tracks that had very thin layer of dust, and they worked well, but it seems that the loamy condintions require different tires.
any suggestions?

Loamy tracks require tires that have bigger pins that are spaced farther apart than the tires you mentioned. The first tire that comes to mind that has worked good for me on loamy conditions is a losi step pin. You want something that can dig down in the track and really hook up.

Try some Badlands. They like the loose stuff.
