I used Sidewinder when I lived in New Mexico mainly due to lack of availability of just about anything else. It worked well for me but I didn't really have anything else to compare it to. Mail order was just too cost prohibitive. Now that I live in Illinois I have used Byrons and Trinity. I settled on Byrons but not for any particular reason other than it is more consistently available so I don't have to retune quite so often.
