Can depend on the servos you are using. I am using KO RSX servos and I crank the servo saver all the way down. Results may vary depending on the quality of your servo.

Default ST-RR difference

Can anyone state what are the differences from an ST-RR to the EVO and does it take much to convert one to EVO?

The differences are minor. The ST-RR uses a 34mm flywheel and the motor mount is taller. The Evo uses a 32mm flywheel with a lower motor mount. The anodizing color is different and the Evo uses straight cut diff gears. Also, the Evo uses threaded shocks.

I am still running a ST-RR but as I needed to replace any of the above mentioned parts I purchased the EVO version and there is no difference in handling that I can tell.

I recently replaced the chassis with the M2C chassis and at the same time I put the M2C forward battery mount modification too. I did notice that I had more steering that in the past and I don't know if it was the chassis or the moving of the battery forward or some combination of the 2 that made the difference.

You can install it on the ST-RR or the EVO. No holes need to be drilled. In addition to the M2C radio plate you need from the MP9 the radio plate and battery box (IF478 and IF479).

I have all the parts you need to complete this in stock. Call me if you need more info.

Anyone using the Kyosho Brushless conversion on an ST-RR EVO? What do you think of it?

I just installed the m2c quick change engine mount. It's a very nice addition. The engine feels much more solid now

i also have the m2c engine mount, it is a lot better than the kyosho mount, used it for a 3 day state title event and it didn't budge at all.

also have the m2c front and rear hinge block systems and the radio tray which is very neat and tidy. nice parts from m2c!

however slightly annoyed that you can only use the m2c front bumper with the front hinge block.

on another note, replacing the drive pins in the universals? is it possible or do i need new universals?
i faintly recall reading that they are not replaceable on the kyo universals..

I have the same M2C stuff on my truggy that you have on yours. I am using the DER208K bumper on my truggy. I had to dremel on it a little in order to get it to fit around the M2C A block. It works great.

Thanks, yep I have 2 off those coming, m2c also said you can fit the kyo one but it clearly needs a fair bit of dremelling, which I am very bad at.
