Default i've come down to 2 truggy rtrs......

hyper st rtr

and

jamin x1 crt rtr

which one should i buy?

i'm going to change the servos and radio gear so the car will be stock and the stock engine will stay.

hyper st- mac-star .28
jamin x1 crt- force .28

hyper st- $489.00 plus shipping on amainhobbies
jamin x1 crt- $514.99 plus shipping on amainhobbies

hyper st- new model. 07'
jamin x1 crt- older model. around 05'?

what needs to be done to make it ready for bashing/racing? this truck will probably be raced 10-15 times a month. i have my ad2 thats my race machine so this vehical could see less than that. lmk. thanks!

I've never run either, but if it were me I would ge the hyper, from what I've heard the RTR jammin needs quite a bit of stuff to make it really hold up to hard racing or bashing, after that thgouh the jammin's do work good,

It sounds like you should get neither one of those rtrs. If you are gonna pull the radio and servos, why pay for them. You could save up a bit more money and get the jammin kit, or the mugen mbx5t and a sport motor. I think that would be a better deal. I am sure there are many motors in the sub 200 dollar range that could smoke those rtr engines. Plus by building the kit you will understand how the vehicles work.

Adim_X- theres no need for me to pay $700 for a truggy rig i'll race 10 times this year(probably less cuz of my ad2). the question is what kit should i get not what do you think i should do as far as getting a truggy rig. sorry to sound mean. i just don't see the point.

Jammin will have a lot more support from the aftermarket companies.
I have the pro kit and have no problems with it
But I don't know the specifics as to what is different on the rtr
I do know that the motor in the rtr crt runs good

hope this helps
