Kyosho Inferno US...no fuel
Hey guys,
I picked up an inferno yesterday to have a buggie to bash around when Im not playing with the on road car. I can get it to start for about 15 seconds and that is it. It seems there is not enough pressure to move fuel to the carb, I literally have to blow on the tube to get it to flow. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks for your help.

I would say 4" on the pressure tube, I would have to check. It is possible there would be a leak but it seems to seal fine, I also put a zip tie on the muffler to make sure it didnt leak from there. The fuel filter looks clean, I just got the buggie yesterday, I dont see any way to remove it anyways though, it seems the assembly was installed then the two tank halves were fused to each other.

There is no way its even close to that, its RTR so I havent done anything to it.

Well I can see it getting fuel now for some reason, it looks like it anyways. Could it be the glow plug? When i remove the glow plug and test it out it heats up the coil no problem. I am thinking about switching to an OS#8, the stock plug could just be junk.

Make sure your fuel tank cap is closed all the way as well. Do this by pressing down on the tank cap after you let it close.
Then try to start the engine. You can use an OS 8 plug without problems, but its not really the correct plug. the OS plug is about 2-3 threads shorter than say an MC-59.
If after checking the fuel tank you still can not get the engine to run, call Kyosho customer support at 800-716-4518. They will be able to help you out as well.
