Default What ever happened to 1/10th stadium trucks?

it was my favorite class. Always loved 1/8th nitro buggies(even if i own an electric not a nitro), 1/10th nitro stadium trucks were so big for so long. And so fun, took a lot of skill, a lot more than all the 1/8th scale 4wd buggies and truggies.

I still have my rc10gt FT running and would love if it made a comeback.

Localy near me, everyone just does indoor electric 1/10th scale 2wd/4wd buggies on astro turf. Seems so boring to me. Obviously just an opinion though.

Nitro has taken a hit from electric.
Companies stopped making had trucks
SCT killed the the class
Track designs werr not very 10th scale friendly for a while

My badboy from back in the day... loved 1/10th nitro, even more than my Raisin Bran! LOL. Throwback to the old RC10GT circa 2005'ish, fully modded of course.

That chassis was Titanium, buckles also, and fibre towers! Looks heavy, but it was fast and light. RB motor screamed in that truck, smashed outdoor tracks all over the west with it! Brings back memories, good times with that gas truck.

@TheWorstDriver, do you still own it? I currently own about 15 rc10gts including the first one I ever bought back in 1995. they are fun to break out on a sunday and rip around ever once in awhile.

Unfortunately, no. All I have of my older stuff is pictures, and the trophies, boxes of trophies. My wife started throwing my trophies out the last time we moved, was sick of hauling them around. lol.

Default In need of fuel tank ASC7899

Hoping someone might be able to help me out. I have searched around the internet and can't find one. My tank cracked. I thought the ntc3 or rc10gt tank would fit but they mount differently. The 7899 mounts to a top plate on the chassis while the ntc3 tank mounts directly to main chassis plate from the bottom.

Help if you can. Thanks.

Ended up finding one on ebay. The listing didn't have a picture so fingers crossed its the GT2 style. Otherwise my back up plan is to convert a T5M. Anyone have a slider?

My new and never run GT2 Factory Team. The engine has never even been started. I remember building it during a winter years ago and then life got in the way for over a decade lol. I started to get back in to the hobby now that my son is nearly five and dug this out of a box. I’m torn between using it and seeing how it is, keeping it a shelf queen (since parts are hard to come by now), or selling it and letting someone else enjoy it. It could use a cleaning due to all of the dust and there’s some light rust on some of the fasteners and a few other steel parts. Other than that it’s new.

Not sure I want to sell it. Not the right place to post it either if I did want to sell it. I thought some of the die hard RC10GT/GT2 fans would like to see it. Like I replied to the PM I received, I think it would be cool to trick it out with either stainless or Ti screws, big bore shocks, and carbon towers. Kind of like this minus the electric conversion
