In offroad racing you want most of your chassis related parts to have a little flex or give to them.

Three times out and three towers later...I dont think there flexing in the right places . I wish I could say its all my non-driving skills but ...they all broke where the shock bolts, split right down the middle of the three holes .

Any ideas?

what are you running ,Gt2 or older GT?? are you hitting stuff , landing off jumps wrong?? i have a GT2 that i have raced the crap out of this past summer, usually race 2 or 3 times a week, and have never broke a shock tower, i have around 8 gallons through my truck and have broke one turnbuckle , one turnbuckle end, and one rear arm , we had a big race not to long ago with a jump that sent the truck about 15ft in the air and around 25 or 30 ft in distance, i broke 2 front body mounts that day , after the second one broke i ran it like that the rest of the day , i figured what was the point of fixing it again lol. crashing going that hi and that fast sux i cant believe i didnt break more stuff.

OK, I just called Associated, and I asked permission for one of the worker's there to drive the body also. Im gonna have to get a formal letter ready for the Bosses though. But it will be cool to have a Associated employee in on this too. He thought it was a cool idea....But we had to be formal to the bosses so we can cover our 6's. This is getting to be a GT2 Nationl Tour!

It's a GT2 and I brushed the plastic pipe along the strait-away, not even hard enough to upset the truck only to see the front end drop going into the corner. It's no wear near bulliet proof, but still the best handling truck I have driven.
