I wanted one of these .5 Minis when I saw it in the mags, but when I saw the price of there website, I said maybe one day. Instead I got the X-Ray Nitro 1/18. Its fast, and fun, dont get me wrong. But when I saw the price on the website I got the X-ray, I was mad. On the other hand, I got the electronics package with the started box and that took it a little higher. Now I am tring to sell the X-Ray so I can get the Jammin Mini. I can't wait

Mr. Shookie- I am going to try some of the servos you have recomended. I burned up 2 hitech 225s on the steering on one on the throttle. Has kingsheadz told you they are going to make braces for the .5? It really needs them as the spur gear is very close to the tank.

UPDATE!

Jammin 1/12th CRT .5 screw kits are now in stock!

Jammin 1/12th CRT .5 210-piece high grade 12.9 alloy steel socket head screw kit. Kit includes all applicable cap, flat and button head screws, as well as nuts, washers, and set screws.

Please note the kit does not include the 2.6mm x 10mm flat head diff screws. The stock screws are a course thread self tapping type screw. I have a 2.5mm x 10mm flat head machine screw but not sure if they'll work. The Diffs are pre-assembled. If the cups were new, they would most likely work. But I'd need to test them in a pre-built diff to see if you can replace the self-tapping screw with a machine thread 0.1mm smaller in diameter.

Thanks and best regards,

Default servo

Trying to find out the diff between 9411 and 9411SA. Specs look the same on the JR website.

Ok found it, the SA version has nylon gears instead of metal.

Looks like the 94761 servo from Airtronics would be a good one for this truck. I have one comming from GP. So im gonna have to get on the ball and get some gear for this little monster.

For some reason I cant get the clutch bell spaced right. It seems the collet is to big and will not let flywheel have a normal gap to the front engine bearing.

After get everything shimmed right the front clutch bearing sits 1mm ahead of the end of the crank. Need a new collet or a Losi 8ight shim.

Im using a OS TZ .12 3 port.

Solved my clutch problem. I used a Losi-NT collet and it did the trick.

Learned something else today. Do not run 9650 on steering. Just running it outside to break the motor in and the gears stripped. What was I thinking! JR here I come.
