NO E-CLIP MOD
I got the hinge pin upgrades for the front upper and the front lower hinge pins, but that left me with the e-clips on the outer arms front and back.
I just hate e-clips so I decided to pull out the dremel and solve this problem. I shaved the hinge pin down first, then I made holes in each arm on the front and back side close to the hinge pin hole an used a button head screw to hold them in.

Yea only if my driving was as great as my wrenching.

Some race news:
Team Losi Nitro Winterchamps, Im pretty sure both Gene and Andy made the main with their Cen Trucks. So they definately have potential. BTW, Drake, Amezcua, and Truhe were flown out and I think Andy qualified 4th, right behind them...not too shaby.

NO MORE CENTER BONES (CVD) UPGRADE!!!!
If you guys are like me you hate dog bones
The CEN Matrix TR FRE came with cvds in the front and rear, but they forgot about the center
Here is the fix, get the center cvds for the Hotbodies Lighting Pro-R.
They are a pefect fit, but could be a mm or 2 longer.
I shimmed the outside of the pinion with two small shims
(included with the kit) and one 8mm washer that I got from my local hardware store. This will shim the cvd closer to the outdrive of the center diff and will also take out all of the backlash between the pinion and ring gear in the diff case.
Here are a few pictures of the items I used.

Our TR came in today cant wait to start building it. Lockmouth, thats exactly what we plan on doing for the center drives.
How about race results? anybody other than Gene have any to report? Had a chance to see a few run at CRCRC. They looked good.
