fuzz: Nice Looking truck. I have not fired mine up yet. I am waiting until the conclusion of our indoor season to transfer over my radio gear. I am looking forward to that LRP.

I am using the Proline MSR CP 2.0 body.

Default Hello

Hello everybody I have a few questions I am going to be running the CEN buggy and truggy soon and I have a few questions for both real quick.

Truggy ?'s- 1-what diff oil should I run with the lsd diffs I do not have any experience with the lsd diffs. 2- does the mugen mbx5t body fit on the matrix tr. How did the build go for you guys. Any tips for the build like what should I look out for or do to make it easier, any tricks.

Buggy- Does the buggy come with the lsd diffs. Does it come with a body.

Thanks guys.

Yes the buggy comes with the LSD style diffs as well, and no it doens't come with a body, if you buy them from Gene's hobby shop, he includes a cross pin conversion for free, so you will have the option of running either,

I'm not sure what oil to run in the truggy, last year I ran 5,7,3 in my buggy, and was really happy with it, but I know others run a lot lighter with the LSD diffs, also the the X5-T body will fit with some trimming, I think they are a touch long, so you will probally have to cut the back end off a bit, to clear the wing mounts, at least thats what I found lining another guys body up on my truck this past weekend,

Thanks Robert for the infoemation. Thats the diff oil I also thought of trying with the lsd diffs. I have one more question for you or anybody here I do not know if one of these 2 starter box's will work on the matrix tr but if somebody could tell me which one would be better for the tr because I use this one for my 8ight b right know and I was wondering if it would work with the matrix tr-

I've been using a TTR/AE box with my truck, it looks alot like the 2nd link you have, I've also seen the chrome top ofna work fine as well, I think either of the two you linked will work fine thgouh, the CEN's arn't like the losi and dont need to be 100% perfectly aligned on the box, with the wheel chamfered and all that extra stuff, I've actually got one TTR box set up that I can start both my buggy and truggy on the same box, neither car fits on perfectly, but both fit on pretty decently, so for club racing or practice, where I dont need to have a pit guy fire it quickly, it saves me having to carry the 2nd box,

All of you Cen lovers would have been proud this past weekend at the AIC 5.0. There where more CEN Matrix and MAtrix TR than anything at this race. All of them looked nice on the track also. Smolik and Gene are sick with there TR. I was amazed to see them hit the big double an land it perfect on the back side each time. This race should have been the CEN INVASION .5 with the CEN INVASION 1.0 to follow May 25 -27
