If you don't have a BCE chassis, you will need to drill out the chassis for the buggy braces. You will also have to grind off the bottom part of the braces to make them flat so that the fit flush with the chassis.

The part numbers for the buggy chassis braces are:

Noted Tree, i've been meaning to have the TR weight reduced. Do i also need to change the upper plate with these?

Yes you would need an upper plate also. I've fixed buggy chassis braces on my truggy today, but not the ones from the matrix buggy. They come from the nanda NRB3 buggy and are made of nylon. Lost a little weight there which is good. And the upperplate is made of carbon and come from the kyosho 777 buggy. Here's some pics.

Yes, you will need the upper plate also. It isn't hard to drill-out and modify the chassis to run the buggy braces or to even run a smaller spur gear. I modified my first TR Arena to run both the buggy braces and a smaller Kyosho 50T spur gear and the buggy mud guards.

If you decide to modify your chassis, pm me and I'll let you know how and what I did to it.

Nitroracer, have you tried these nanda braces on the track? i could possibly find these braces locally, are they worth it or i should better get the CNC braces for the CEN buggy? I do have the front upperplate for a 777, and would try to do what you've just did. Thanks tree for the tips, would definitely try these once i get those braces.

No, not yet. Look forward to try them out, but here in sweden its snow averywhere by now.. Anyway, the nanda braces give the truck more flex which is great for very bumpy sections.. The CNC braces is a bit stiffer. The ones you should have depends on your driving style and what you find best for your track. You will need to drill up the hole in the rear brace on the nanda ones to get it fit nicely to the holder. And, one more thing.. The upperplate for 777 can be a bit to short, but i drilled out the holes and it works fine.

Nitro, what holes to drill in the upperplate of 777? did you need to drill new holes for the screws to fit?
