The arms that are on there I bought from Gene like 2 months ago. I will call him monday and ask him wether he's been selling long or the short arms. I figured from him they would be, I buy all my TR parts from him.

Order new arms, and in the meanwhile just drill new pin holes for the front-left hub like 5mm inn and you are set ... i did that until i got the new arms,

Actually I am going to 17mm hubs as soon as the wheels and tires get here. What does that do for the axles.

The short arms are the same part #, so there is no way to know unless you compare them to the old ones. I know some of the arms in my shop are the short ones because I checked a few sets. But some are the old ones too.

What I did was shim the outside of the hub before the hex in the rear. In the front, I shimmed all the way before the hub, hex, and carrier. They should be the last things on the CVD after the bearings. By doing this, you push the CVD farther into the cup therefor eliminating the problem of the CVDs popping out. Another tip I got from a friend is to use an o ring along with a few shims in the front. I also put some fuel tubing on the shock shafts. I'm doing so much because I want to be sure that I won't have a cvd pop out while on the track. I haven't had any issues so far with the oring..just using shims, I had one pop out after a large jump into the face of another one. All I did was gas it a bit and it was all good. I did add one shim after this, just to be sure. The best thing you can do though is get CEN's new arms. They are probably the best solution. I still run the stock long arms.

Change to the buggy axles and there is no need to use shims in the rear. You will need to shim the front with one 8mm washer on each side. You can get the washers at any hardware store.

What did you use to remove the pin from the front axles? I have tried to push and hammer them out but all I did was damage the axle. Also how did you put the pin back in the truggy cvd? Thanks

I take mineout every couple weeks to check my bearings and what not but you just got to be patient and keep wacking it. when you get the pin out polish all the gunk off of it thats what I do.

I used a vise to hold the axle and tapped the pin out. Then took the axle and pin from the buggy and tapped it in to the truggy shaft. It seemed to work just fine. It could of been luck too

I need to find a brake/throttle linkage for my TR. Will one from any other manufacturer work or will I need to get the one from Cen? Just asking because my LHS does not support Cen and I need it asap.

So after having went to the 17mm hubs I still had the cvd come out then I was thinking, shim the inside of the front of the truggy and have been fin ever since.
