Thanks Lockmouth got it... Now I have been trying a few different wings and some of them dont fit on the stock TR wingmount like the J-concepts and proline High downforce dont fit. My question is does the Himoto wing fit? I want a High downforce wing to try. But I will say that I do like the RC8 wing. It is huge and keeps its form well in scuffles.

I use the Proline High Downforce wing. I just use my dremel to remove the ribs on the bottom that interfere with the wing mount.

just cut a strip off of both wing mounts where the holes are to make it thin enough that way most any wing will fit with no interference of the wing mount

Yup, well just about. I did a little shaving on the bottom, but it took all of 2 minutes.

Guys here ya go... This wing setup here allows any wing to mount directly without any mods I have yet to break a wing mount or even bend it with this set-up ( I not on my lid much )

You can use the stock radio post, but I had some Ofna wing mount post so i used them instead. They are a little longer an they look nice to boot

I drilled out the chassis for the buggy braces. I mounted the front brace to the front end assembly then drilled the chassis right through the mounting hole of the brace. I also did the same to the rear. I mounted the brace to the rear end assembly the drilled through the hole of the rear chassis brace. Use a smaller drill bit so that you don't strip the threads of of the chassis braces. Then you can drill the holes larger if needed to accomdate the screws.

If you are still running the guards on the TR. I just had some velcro and stuck it to the guard. I never had it fall off and it was removable.

I put mine inside the radiobox. There is plenty of room for it in there.

Great minds think alike. That is what I did early this season and I have never bent or twisted the wing mount yet. It also allows you to mnt any wing perfect. I used the radio post from the buggy and a couple washers. This is a great mod
