Mhhhh ...

Im using a GO TECH .25 on my CEN Truggy and the engine seems perfect to me, its a great balance between the RPM's of a .21 and the extra torque of a bigger engine, and its not bad in fuel side ... i can do easy 8 minutes to 8.30 per tank.

About brakes and servos, im not using a very expensive one, just Hitec 985 for gas/brake, its a US$ 69 servo and works GREAT, on brakes i just installed 1 disc in front and 1 on the rear and seem to be working perfect.

just my US$ .0002

cya !!

The Go .25 is a great choice. Engines all come down to how much do you want to spend. Go makes .28 mills too. Right now I am running a .28 but I want to go to a .21. A good .21 will make just as much if not more power than a $200 .28. Your Picco is a good engine but to race truggy I would have had it modified because it doesnt have the rpm's a 3 diff vehicle needs. I had my engine modified. I am looking at the GO .21 5p and 7p for my next engine and I will probably have it modded also.

Get the Duracell rechargable 2650 mah AA for the radio and make a pack. They last longer than the Futaba packs I have had in the past. If you cant find those I am shure the ones you mentioned are fine. You use AA batteries for your reciever? I hope you make a pack with 5 of them.

Will the buggy guards fit under the Stock body with the stock chassis?

Novarossi motors

hey guys I sent my Novarossi N528XR in to fussion motorsports and they inspected it for me for free. I was informed that the used motor I purchased off of rcuniverse was totaly junk. So they offered me me a trade in value for it and I purchased one of the Plus .28 5T engines. They also were going to modify it for me. Have you guys heard anything on these motors good or bad. I've had my TR FRE for about 2 mounths and made alot of mods you guys have talked about on this forum. The motor should be here in a couple of days and i can't wait to get it broke in. Then I'm heading to the track.

Hey TripleX, will I be getting the chassis the way it is in the 1st or seconed pic? I hope its the seconed. Man did I need a new 1 mine is beat. The holes where the front end are mounted to are kinda opening up alittle and I didnt like that at all, I am glad I didnt have to spend a ton of loot on one either.

chrobar 06-14-2008 02:01 PM

Those 2 pictures are the the same chassis and guards. The top one is a top side view, and the bottom one is a bottom side view. It looks like they fit very well.
