Just installed the worlds upgrade...How are you guys achieving to get the 113mm for point to point on front shocks? As I am almost at full droop and it would max out at about 111mm please advise thanks!!

per4m28 you are going to need some longer shock ends. The upgrade kit comes with 4 of the ends used on the steering servo rod you have to cut 1.5mm from them to get the right length or if you read through the last 5 or so pages you will find the part numbers for the Hot Bodies D8T shock ends and balls that are already the right length.
How can you believe any place has the RC8.2 in stock when AE doesnt even have them yet? I wouldnt take a chance on anywhere that wasnt a normal reputable dealer. There are too many scammers on the internet. Dont fall into their traps.

Did you mod the arms to clear the chassis where the droop screws touch?
im gonna check everything out again later maybe im missing something!!
Honestly IDK. I have all the parts sitting on the bench at home but havent upgraded mine yet. Ive just been reading this thread learning what I can so that when I do it I can do it right.
Read back a couple pages and there is a guy who says 111mm is good. Personally I like to limit my front droop a bit so the front doesnt come up so high on acceleration. When you have too much front droop you lose on power steering because the weight all transfers to the rear.
Also I must admit I dont like measuring the droop at the shocks. The front isnt too hard to measure but the back is difficult because the wing is in the way. I also dont feel like I can get accurate measurements trying to measure from center to center. You could easily be off by near a mm unless your careful. I like to eye things up then I lift the car from the center and make sure my wheels or arms both touch the table simultaniously to make sure the droop is even. I guess after 11 years racing I have developed my own methods. Wrong or right its just how I do things.

I concur. AE doesnt even have a release date and amain only has an ETA of 9/1/11 which we know most likely its not coming out on that day. I've decided to just buy the 8.2 instead of upgrading my RC8B with the worlds kit. Matter of fact I sold my RC8B yesterday to put that money torwards the 8.2. So now I'm just playing the waiting game like everyone else.
If anyone wants any of the new upgrade stuff I have 2 sets of everything for the upgrade that I bought for guys and they haven't picked them up so I'm selling them just pm me.
I was getting 110mm with the stock shock ends. I can get way more than 113mm with the Hot Bodies shock ends, but then you would also have to do the hub mod if you start running that much droop.
Something must be binding or not put together correctly. Or you could be measuring wrong. Show us some pics and I'm sure we can figure it out.
