I don't dout that Werks is a great unit, I use their engines and plan to continue using them. Will probably try one of their clutch's later but for now the stocker is fine, have 2+ gallons on my current Answer shoes.

Considering the "old" technology of the RC8, I think it's an amazing drive by Ryan, well done

Just makes me think that I need to really concentrate on my driving and set up before running off to buy a new "super car" which the owners claim make them sooooooooo much faster

I have been down that road of trying everything under the sun.
It's driving and setup. Nothing wrong with Associated at all.

Looks like the other thread is gone. So I wanted to start a new thread and see what the interest in the new buggy will be and set up tips once the Buggy is released.

in my opinon the only old about the rc8 is it doesnt have a center mounted engine. with the right set up i think it just as good as everything out there. i have considered jumping ship like alot of have done. i got some set up help from brandon melton. now i couldnt be happier with the car.

Maifield was using the buggy he used at the worlds at motorama, rc car action has a video of him at motorama talking about the updated buggy different arms, longer chassis, and new shock towers said you should see it in production soon that is what i think he is talking about. here is the link http://www.rccaraction.com/videos
