I was able to either corner marshall or watch just about every race this weekend and the RC8 was by far the most dominating car on the track!!
The Associated RC8:
-Nat's TQ
-RC8's TQ'd 3 out of the 4 rounds
-Of the 4 cars to turn 11 laps in qualifying, 2 were RC8's
-The only 2 cars to turn 28 second laps were RC8's
-At the half way point in the main Ryan Maifield put a lap on the field!! He didn't do it because everyone else was having bad luck either, he did it by driving 1/2 of a second faster a lap than everyone else.
The only car that was as fast as his in the main...Ryan C. in an RC8!!!!
I guess that my prediction for Associated to win the Nat's did not work out, but the Associated RC8 was definately the best car at the Nationals!!

AE,
Nice run this weekend with the RC8. TQ is nice to see but I am sure you guys want the WIN as well. I am sure you will take them at the Worlds
Man I can not wait to run this car!!!!!!!!!
Brent or Coach,
Are we still on target for August release?
I have my Nitro Regional in Sept and was hoping to be running the car by then?
Thanks
Kevin Boyle

I already posted on the ROAR Nats thread...
I also wanted to give credit to Ryan Maifield for setting a pace that no one could match....his car and driving were incredible to watch in the main.
When his car stopped while in the lead, it came back to the pits and his O.S. SPEED engine was still idling perfectly....he just had no control with the radio. It appears something went bad in the electrical system. We unplugged the power and re-connected and it worked again... but too late. The second time the car stopped it came back and the steering servo had failed. That's gas racing and we'll try again at the next race.
The other AE cars at the race were: Cavalieri, Saxton, JR Mitch, Skidmore, and myself. All of them made the 1/2 finals and should be qualified for the Worlds. I was 7th in the 1/8th final after bumping up from the 1/16th.
Other AE drivers were Scott Brown (TTR S3), Dave Montgomery (TTR S3) and Jason Ruona (Mugen). There were also some regional AE drivers there running their cars.... everyone should have RC8s for next year's race.

Great video JR! I must say that the RC8 looks like it's in a class all by itself!!!
