Team Associated 1/8 scale Buggy Info and Tips
#61

I said it is not a "direct copy" of any car. That doesn't mean we re-invented the wheel.
Our chassis layout is tried and true: Motor on the left, electronics on the right, uses standard mufflers and headers, fuel tank in front of the engine, the throttle servo is near the motor....you know, stuff like that.
The buggy should be out in plenty of time for racing this summer....we'll announce a release date once we know.

Correct, the only major components to carry over are the 3 diffs.

If an AE faithful is looking at getting into 1/8, then he'll have to buy metric wrenches anyway unless he buys a Losi.
Makes total sense for AE to use metric hardware....

You not a true Rc'er then. Only the true RC'er has both sets. Just kidding. I am new to this forum Not new to Rc or AE. I am really excited for this buggy, I race other Brands of 1/8th scale but all of my other Rc cars and trucks are all Team Associated well except my MT its a Revo.
