Yeah. I've been getting about 5-6 gallons on the KH. I've bought two sets since May(I think) when I first bought KH shoes. They are awesome. Just debur every other race. I run light springs though just to make sure I have control of the car. I think this is why the last so long. I'm using green and black springs.

Hey guys I am sure this has been answered in the previous 180 pages but to be honest I am just to damn lazy to read all of it.
Now to the problem at hand, my 8ight is great but I need some more on and off power steering, my setup on the car is great and I am looking for that little bit extra in the steering department. So if anyone can give me a list of reccommendations I would greatly appreciate it.

My current setup is as follows:
Front:
Bones level
Medium sway bar
54 piston
40 wt oil
Spring Silver
full droop
short ackerman plate
bump steer up
Camber link 2
Shock location 2-inside
Front diff 3000
Center 5000
Rear:
Toe 3*
Anti-Squat 3*
Bones level
Camber -2
Hubs Spacing full back
Sway Bar Thin silver
56 piston
22.5 or 25 wt oil
Spring Black
full droop
Camber link 2A
Shock Location 2-inside
Rear diff fluid 1000
RB WS7-II
JP-3 pipe
KH 7075 shoes
green/gold springs
To be honest the car is great but, I would definitely like alot more on and off power steering. That is the only thing that keeps this car from being perfect.
Thanks

These are in order......
You need to get rid of full droop. If you want your car to turn properly you can't let the suspension extend to full height.
Try 96mm in the front and 110mm in the rear.
The 8ight is also sensitive to tires as well. Don't run M2 Crimefighters on it and expect it to turn. They are terrible on the 8ight. Try some M3 Crimes or Bowties or go with some Panther KII or KI Dragons.
Your neutral ride height needs to be a little lower in the front than it is in the rear. I run just a tad below level in the rear and then the front is lower.
You might want to slow the rear suspension down later. Try 55 pistons and 40wt.
Go medium on the rear sway bar to increase rotation going in and increase steering coming out of the corner.
Hope this helps,
TEX

I cannot comment on CF m2 or m3, but I have noticed some difference between tires, but not as drastic as my old xray was. I really like panther k2 soft, werks stubs, and GRP Atomic softs....

I agree with micrors4guy , it all depends on the track conditions . To state M2 Crime fighters don`t do well on an 8ight is your opinion and should not be misinformed as a fact . I personally haven`t had the Jconcepts body but heard they are thin and don`t last as long as others .
