Rear outer hinge pins
Has anyone come up with a solution to the outer hinge pin problem
I am now on my 4th set of pins and have even tried the titanium ones from lunsford but they are no better.I think its a design flaw as i had an x1cr before the 8ight and never had to change one once. The only solution i can see is if losi revise the wishbones.
Any help or solution would be greatly aprieciated as this is really starting to pee me off.

Stealth RT- Are you considering racing sometime soon?
It was suggested to me to do the following when using Losi wheels and Proline tires.
M3-Stock PL foam..............
M2-Stock Losi foam............

Trebor we missed you at RC Pro in OKC. Maybe next time.
On the outer hinge pins, I'm using drill blanks. They are as hard as rocks. I would like to see Losi go to 4mm or 3.5 mm hinge pins there. The material is just not right but it could be if they changed diameter. They do bend way too easy.
Car ran awesome in OKC! Had a blast.

go to the hardware store and get drill bits that are the same size and cut to length. then drill a couple of holes next to the hinge pin.. tap and thread extra screws next to the hinge pin... i looked a a guys that where like that but ive never had a problem with mine

What tires and setup would you lot choose for this dusty track?I've asked a few times before but the video might help a bit.

Looks like my Local track couple weeks ago. I thought "Bowfighters" worked pretty well.

Ditto on the softer clutch. I would run 2 khz 7075 w/gold springs and 2 carbon shoes w/green springs for this slipperly/dusty of a track. Also stepdown the center diff from 7K to 5K diff oil. 3/5/1 or 3/5/3 would be good diff combos. A little more rear traction can be had by moving the rear shocks out to the 3-outside shock location and moving the rear hubs all the way forward. The Proline High Downforce Wing also helps over the stock wing.
