well i did mount the link into the #1 hole but it says on the 1.0 t manuel that using the #1 hole is good for high traction surfaces well most of the time my track is dry and dusty so it doesnt have the best grip .

i guess i could use the #1 hole on the tower i do have new rear tires i-beams soft.

im not impatient im just getting aggerated in why i cant use the lower holes on the tower with the 2.0 rear hubs .

i did, use the 1.0 rear hubs with the link on the (a) hole on the 1.0 hubs and the #4 hole and it was fine but i got tried of bending the rear hub hidge pins.

just try it. stop going by what the manual says, yes it states what it will do BUT it doesnt mean you wont like it.

with the i-beams on a 1.0 your going to push BAD in corners, what i did is ran cityblocks in rear and i-beams in front, sounds funny but worked well!

ok i did have the 1.0 rear hubs and i could use the (a) hole on the 1.0 rear hubs with the #4 hole on the tower but i got tried of bending the outer hub hidge pins.

i did try to drill the 1.0 hubs out but i couldnt get the 2.0 hub pin to go though all the way.

In my experience: Going by the rules of thumb in chassis tuning sometimes will get you in the opposite situation you wanted. Or, doing the opposite of what the rule of thumb states may get your right where you wanted.

my $0.02 on that!

oh i dint know that i did have a push with using soft city blocks on the front that are well used but still good and brand new i-beams but i will try to use 3 degress of rear toe in to see what happens . as a starting point it said that it will give you more foward traction which it seem like i had lack of.

but if that doesnt work than i will use the city blocks on the rear and the i-beams on the front.

i already have 3000 in the rear diff and i would think that 2000 w in the rear on a truggy whould burn up too quick.
