Hi guys, how to change caster on a pbs car?

is it only done by changing front kick up? i.e. more kick up?

Hello sn47som,

Changing the front Kick-Up on PBS Car will not essentially change the Caster angle.

You should move the Upper Arm to change the Caster Angle. You also able to alter the Caster Angle by moving the Lower Arm, but it will also effecting other areas.

Cheers..

Thanks! I thought about upper arm position but didnt see it changing castor much hypothetically. You can only move the arm a few millimeters front or back.

Hello sn47som1,

You might think that the Upper Arm position change is minimal, but it can be around 4° from front to rear position.

You will able to feel it in the the track from moving thin spacer on the upper arm.

Cheers..

I would change the upper arm spacers. Its easier and will not effect the kickup wheel base or roll center.
