The caps on my fuel jugs straight from the hobby shop have a tendency to leak.
is there a nitro fuel safe alternative reusable container that anyone uses or recommends for about a gallon at a time?

Ask the local club/LHS for an empty used can

VP isn’t sold locally anywhere near me and I like the brand we run at our track. But I did find someone who keeps their extra VP cans and is going to give me a few.
Apparently my plastic gallon jugs don’t have the plug that goes in before the screw cap and that’s why they leak a little bit.

I just found these ✅ Auto Parts Round Plastic Tapered Hole Plugs Caplugs - Select Size & Qty ✅ | eBay
same size. PMI-33 cheaper.

Just to add, I've been using a 1-litre bottle left over from cleaning alcohol for my leftover fuel or when I mix leftover brews. They are usually very thick and up to the job, and this one has a quality thread cap - bonus point it's the same thread as on my fuel bottles, so I can just screw on the filler and use it directly.

I have never had fuel that didnt "leak". Expand and contract with temp.
