the only real difference between the two is the block , the 21-5k has a seperate diverter in the block to send fuel straight into the vertical intake ports which they moved to the back side of the horizontal transfer port instead of them being nearest the exhaust port . other than that pretty much identical .

I'm running a HN 2047 with a short smooth header on a plus21-5T and so far this is my pick
I'm getting really good run time and the power is awesome through out the range, the JP-1 wasn't to bad but I found a flat spot in the midrange with it that i could get rid of
I'm soon to be trying a HN 2062 which I beleive the JP-4 is based on so I'll let you know how it goes

I've got Boca steel bearings in mine. I cant say anything about durability yet as the're still pretty fresh, but they fixed the leak from the front of the engine so that's always good.

the 053 will give you abit more top end than the 086 but watch for your run time to drop

IMO Novarossi's new .21 offroad plus series motor's are Junk at the moment nothing like the old P5X theres a thread on the new 367 with nothing but problems
the new nova bearing are nothing but problems to and not only for the off road motor there onroad motors are having bearing failure to but none of this ghostflaming out if u want a good cheap motor get the Picco or the Ninja but if budget not a worry then hands down get the SPEED

I was having ghost flame outs till I went to a hotter plug. Now the engine runs beautifully.

IDK, gang...
I'm in the final stages of breaking mine in, and it seems like it is a keeper for sure! I can tell this thing is going to be a beast on the track!
I think a bunch of folks are confusing the 367 with the 21-5 or 21-7 series. There may be some similarities in design, but it would seem to me that the flaws of the 367 aren't present in the 21-5 or 21-7 motors...
However, I've only a couple of tanks through mine, but so far, so good! It may grenade on me tomorrow, though!
