$$$$$, i would say they expected US distribution to happen faster and get kits in hands but it took forever. Now theres some random company(send it rc??) stuck with them.

I wasn’t expecting that… Anyway, it was speculated about a page back that considering he wasn’t able to race much last year, perhaps it was just due to lack of brand promotion? Speculation will always be speculation. Regardless, good to see him with a ride for this year, and I hope he has a good year.

Anyway, in other news, Joe Bornhorst will be running Drake power this year (OS AD2) in his nitro vehicles. Go Joe!

Lutz with kyosho is the perfect fit, and cj will never fully develop without a fast vet helping guide his way. I was honestly suprised he didnt sign last year

CJ to a private sponsor? I know he was also sponsored by AMain - I recall he was running Samurai engines in his Nitro buggy for one thing.

But anyway, regarding the previous comment, CJ won’t be benefitting from Ryan if he’s no longer running Kyosho. On the other hand, if he’s running Mugen, he can always get a hand from Adam - Adam helps everybody! What a great ambassador for the hobby.

Anyway, in more Silly Season news, Cav has moved to Hobbywing Electronics… Heh, I thought he was happy with his MuchMore gear. Also, Tom Rinderknecht has declared that he’s Independent for 2022, but is running Xray at the Midwest Champs.

Spencer Rivkin will also be running Drake power for 2022 (O.S. AD2 plus Adam’s EBIS). I’m surprised Maifield hasn’t already announced that he’s jumped on board with Drake by now - unless I missed it.

Maifield is running Samurai engines as part of his A-Main deal.
