And the Mayako will be another good car. Can’t understand why people bad mouth something new, before they even see one or drive one. Personally, I’m looking forward to a new kit. Maybe this will be something good and make other companies step up. But I do agree, there really are no “bad” cars.

I am really liking it. Just wonder what happened to all the marketing.

The first prototypes are supposed to go out to people around July or August. I believe right now only JQ has a complete prototype.

How does AE and TLR end up being your picks to weather this? They're both controlled by companies that'll axe the 8th scale race cars ASAP, when the money tree dries up.

Worldwide kits stand a better chance. Mugen Kyo Xray.
this is where TLR is different. They dont sell just race cars. They develop race cars, and the tech that goes into them, they use for the bashers. As long as there are bashers, there will be TLR.... I cant speak for the other brands that dont have a supporting side business...

And now they put the TLR logos ON the bashers! It's come full circle jerk.

yeah that's why they slapped a Kyosho style front and a Mugen style rear on a chassis and called it a day.

i guess monsterjuice can tell me " i told you so", because look at the marketing claim of a fully adjustable drive like whatever you want car and then look at the rear end on the jacking video tumbnail, no adjustable rear end.

So i complained about this and the answer from JQ was " i didn't design it that way because i don't like how it feels on track."

So this guy talks about doing the right thing for the sport/hobby all the time but when push comes to shove he himself doesn't give a flying fuck and does whatever he feels like despite that being harmfull to the sport/hobby and completly selfish.

Because if your marketing is just utter bullshit and the product you deliver doesn't reflect what you told people it will you aren't being good for the sport/hobby.

They said they would make a 2 in 1 car but did 1.5 in 1 car.

There are clearly inserts in the D block. You can see a "0" in the holes. I could see this making them more durable since they can't be punched through the block.
