Default Moved from electric buggys to nitro buggy racing loving it!

Moved over from electric 1/10th to 1/8th nitro buggy and wow amazing why didn't I do it first! Love the vibe from the 1/8th crowd good bunch of people, more involved to nitro, more prep more rewarding and man the tracks to fit the scale of the car big narly jumps, dirt😁🤘 how it should be.
And have done it on a budget as people are like nitro expensive.
Just reignited my passion for rc

Hey Bro,

Noticed you're in Enfield. You race at RCMadness?
I haven't been up to the track yet but want to get out there

Yeah unfortunately for me rc madness is 2 miles away. Very bad for my wallet.

Nitro racing is awesome. Get yourself a nitro truggy that is a lot of fun also. RC in general is expensive, the difference between running nitro vs electric is not enough to be a deal breaker.

+1 on nitro. I have old mp7.5 sports buggies modded and improved to near 777 standards. One I converted to EV last year so I have the same chassis with different motive styles. Frankly, I reach for the EV when I am lazy - but when my batteries are both dead I can't wait to take the nitro out of the box. Nitro far more expensive, at least over the long run but man - EV are simply not the same experience. You can't beat that smell, the noise, the feel. And...although both my buggies are geared for roughly the same acceleration and top speed - my nitro tears though tall weeds and grass better than the EV. Yea, they are a PITA when they decide to be, but now that I have a decent engine in place of the RTR engine - I can bash with the engine out of tune and it still works adequately.

Very expensive tho. A gallon of 30 here in Ontario Canada is over $55+ depending on store and brand. I prefer Byron Gen2 which is now discontinued (out of business?) going for $75 in one store once. Wow!

I am personally using Bones Brew. I don't know if they will ship up there or not.
