Default stripped engine mount screw

general question, I stripped a engine mount screw (the screws that holds the engine mount to the chassis, it's a 4x10mm flat head). Anyone have a good recommendation on a bit or tool to remove stripped screws?

thanks

What stripped? The head or the threads? If itís the head, you can usually use a reverse bit screw extractor. You may have trouble finding something small enough for 4mm though. You can also drill the just the head of the screw off, then remove the rest of the screws, then remove the mount. Hopefully there will still be enough of the screw sticking out that you can use small pliers or vice grips to unthread it since it wonít be under tension any longer.

Cut a slot in the screw and use a flat tip to remove it.

Or grind it to nothing to get the engine out.

then torch the mount and vice grips.
