Which 8th scale kit should I purchase? 4 choices

Hey folks, I’m looking at purchasing another nitro 8th scale and am looking at these 4. I currently have a KYOSHO mp9 tki4 and a Serpent Cobra 811. I’d like to get something different.

Tekno NB48.4
HB D819
XRAY XB8 2017 edition
Associated RC8 B3.1

Any advice/suggestions? Thanks

Currently I’m leaning towards the D819

If your looking to buy soon out of those choices I would go with the HB D819. Tekno is coming out with a new kit soon though. I’ve seen plenty of D819 run and they look very solid in the hands of pros and joes.

I've heard great things about how easy the Agama cars are to drive as well as being tough. And I drive Mugens haha.

Get the new agama A319. 100%. You’ll thank me later.

Since it took only 2 posts to suggest something other than what the poster asked, I'll throw in the JQ Black Edition with by FAR the best support.

But really, all are good. Go with what your local hobby shop or track guys support.

HB really solid car and it performs superbly out of the box plus needs zero upgrades.

I meant to look into JQ more. I’ll do some research, thanks 🤙

Think of it this way- it's the only brand where you can ask the designer directly via mail or FB and ask him for advice

+1 for Tekno, Buy the new Tekno kit, or either get the NB48.4 on a good sale after the new kit is released if you wanna save some $$$
