Default Nitro buggy build/question

I put this over in the rookie section but not sure how much traffic it gets and would like to hear what you guys think. Iím building a mbx7r at the moment and this is my first buggy build. But I Picked up a nice roller. Then purchased the Novarossi Elite 5, 51020-21 muffler/manifold combo, and the Mugen 4 shoe clutch. No rx/tx or servos yet.

Pictures show parts mocked up laying there. I guess my revolves around motor mounting. Is there a way to ensure straight alignment of the clutch bell/center diff gear. Seems like there is obviously a lot of space to move around prior to being fully tightened. I apologize if this is basic stuff, but when building my first buggy and spending decent money on stuff, I donít want to ruin anything. And this situation reminds me of clutch, transmission, stall converters in a car. All of which need correct or proper alignment. If you have any tips or tricks in this situation, post what you think. Appreciate you reading and helping.

Install your clutch assembly, I usually Eyeball mine to ensure its square with the spur.

Adam Drake talks about setting mesh here, and later in the video he gives some pointers about keeping things square.

As above, install (and shim + loctite if needed) the clutch/clutchbell first.

I was just about to point to this video, so good call! 👍🏼 And while youíre there, go ahead and hit that Subscribe button for him. He provides some good general advice, that usually applies to most if not all buggies.

Appreciate the response and help. Iíll be doing some work to it today. Looks as if the Mugen 4 shoe canít be assembled prior to being on the motor? Either way itís not a big deal
