I pretty much run the stock setup with a few changes…
Red springs up front
60/50 Losi oil front/rear (adjust accordingly for the blazing summertime heat etc)
12/12/4 Diff oils
2.5/3 degree toe in rear (currently 3.0)
Droop screws are set at 2mm (ish)?

I run the strr rear unis….somewhere in the thread that is discussed…no probs there
I change the rear pills around…works for me (see if I can send some current pics showing suspension etc.)
Shocks are in middle hole on tower and arm both front/rear
60/40 ish front rear brake bias … vented discs.
Aluminum front rear caster blocks/hubs (personal preference)
17.5 castor +0/ +1 inserts….
Tworx front and rear aluminum chassis braces
Lunsford titanium bottom kit… turnbuckles.(personal preference)
If a lot of traffic is running and a groove forms I might make tire changes and maybe play with diffs, oils etc.
Running stock Kyosho 13t vented clutch bell setup on 3 aluminum shoes with 1.0 springs all around
I find that I can still get on the throttle and it handles the rough sweetly.
Still playing around with it but working for me…lol
🤷🏻♂️
Obviously tires are going to play a huge factor and since coming back in …I’ve really liked the feel of the J Concepts Reflex to start out the day…

Pretty sure all links and Ackerman positions, sway bars, pistons etc. are stock except for the rear pill setup… and mentioned items? I run the lightened cross pins in the diffs(not necessary). I run emulsion setup…. And check/change oils every so often..
No “magic” setup…. Find you a good base setup that’s a comfortable start…then tweak/play around with it to accommodate your driving style and track conditions based on your experiences and data gathered…out of the box setup isn’t too shabby…😎🇺🇸

I run a very similar setup to the above setup. basic setup differences for me is 10 10 7 diffs.. i tend to run dark blue springs front and rear. 700 600 shocks oils on white 1.3 5 hole pistons on bladders more than emulsion. but the truggy out of box setup is really good for sure. truck is good. i go everywhere with this setup and it just works lol

What have y'all figured about the body, besides don't crash?

Use the jcon body like the rest of us. Get the JW mount.
