Has anyone had any experience with these springs. French company 6MIK have added to the Optima range new internal shock springs for 1/8 buggies. Specially developed by the 6MIK team, the internal shock springs allow to less prone to rolling over and reduce the pitching weight transfer, resulting in increased driving precision. The internal shock springs are available in set of four, and come with two long and two short springs.

Probably would give a better rebound and might stop the shocks from bottoming out,but i cant see them being helpful.

These wont stop the shock from bottoming out, They will ad resistance to droop travel. The may add slight preload and would increase rebound. They might be beneficial on really high grip, smooth tracks to complement the sway bar. On a bumpy track, you generally don't want MORE spring.

Yeah we did this over 30 years ago with Delta shocks in 1:8, 1:10, & 1:12... but given these have just been released, there is more.to be seen in their application.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but don't anti-roll bars and droop screws accomplish essentially the same thing?

Yes, but without knowing their springrates, i think they use it as a means to perhaps control rebound?

Yes, but slightly different.

If you wanted quicker rebound AND wanted the car to corner flatter/reduce understeer - these could be a thing.

or if they are using it as a means to have a set amount of sag, without worrying about downstop adjustments and such. To make the car more consistent on various tracks and conditions!

Until someone tests it who knows, but that is a good theory. Unless your original set of springs on the shocks offset the inner springs? Too bad CSI is not making RC shocks anymore, they had a nice shock dyno.
