If you plan on going to a track with it find out what most people there are running and go with that.

Yeah Iím kind of donít like that theory on what your hobby shop carry or what everybody else has at the track bc what they like I might not like but I get it what you saying and others say. But since you say that I will look into what they are driving at the track bc we do have some team drivers for some of the popular names out there. One of the guys was a TA and he did help me out big time on my Rcb83 nitro buggy.

Why not an RC8T3 if you already have the buggy? Some parts commonality would probably be nice.

If thatís true, thatís probably what Iíll end up with. I heard the new X vehicles are metric.

I do agree that is was a stupid decision for TLR to make the 4.0 SAE, but it didn't stop me from buying a kit and the correct tools. ($60 for all four SAE hex drivers from MIP)

Tools are always a great investment.

I just bought some pricey metric Hudy tools years ago. Everything I buy whether it be a 1/8 scale vehicle, quadcopter, Traxxas vehicle for my son, boat, plane, whatever is metric. I just donít want to buy SAE tools for just one vehicle lol! It looks like Losi is finally conforming with the rest of the RC world with the X lineup!
