Does the motor sound good, does it go full RPM?

If so and the car is not moving well I would say it is a clutch. There is a clutch on the motor and probably there is a slipper clutch in the large spur gear.

But the crystal bol does not tell me exacly where the problem is so you have to take a better look by your self.

-Does your throttle servo work?
-Does your carb open all the way?
-Are you using good fuel?
-Is the engine revving high?
-Is your clutch worn?
-Is your engine aligned to the spur gear?
-Does your radio work?

Provide some details as to what exactly is happening, what you see and hear, and what you've done.

You mention it has been in storage for some time. How long is this time? Could be the diffs are gunked up, rusted etc. Take the car apart
