Is anybody running a OS Motor in his D819? I build my OS B21 Adam Drake in the Car and the gearmash is way to tight. I used the Stock No.1 Plates (orientation: loose) and 13/48 Gearing. The Drivetrain is binding up completely.
I think the Crankshaft of the OS is higher compared to a Orion CRF or Performa Engine.
What is the best Solution for this Problem?
No.2 Plates for the Motor-Mount or should I try to get my Engine a little bit down (0,2-0,5mm).
Use the #2 plates. I run OS and it's a great fit! Put the notches facing the radio tray

I used the plates with my OS and it was ok but I switched back to the old 2-piece motor mount.

Yes. Cole Ogden told me to just dremel it down till it doesn't rub. Said it wont cause an issue.

Do the Sworkz clutch choes work with the stock HB clutch? They seem to be the same.

Same but cheaper. Had a buddy start using them. In comparison they seem the same with only the color different. Wear doesn’t seem to be an issue either.

Cheaper and you get 6 in a pack instead of 3

Is there any difference between the front uni. drive shafts and the rear ones? Can I but just one set for spares?

Yes. They are different. The rear has a larger area where the bearing sits to allow for the larger diameter of the rear bearing

Yes i ran emulsion, front 1.5 5 hole with 45wt oil and yellow spring. Rear 1.6 5 hole with 37.5 and white spring. Car is super easy to drive and eats up the bumps, the harder you drive through the bumps the better it is. On my local track i was about half a second a lap quicker. You could also run 43.5 in the front.
