assume you're talking about the point between cases and the crown gear?
Most leaking will come from the case not being flat or leaking through screw holes.
I had terrible issues on a JQ centre diff and the fix was sanding the case, using TWO gaskets and tightening the screws hard.(I tried 3 new cases, but typical JQ quality)

I used to use Mugen gaskets when i had JQ. Worked perfect. Also if you overfill the diff it will leak.

My leaks are coming from the sealed side ( not the gasket ) of the diff housing. there have been a few videos about using tire glue to make a better seal. I have tried this but it still leaks. I really thought about buying the Fioroni but its like $50 a piece.

If hb is still using the same diffcase from the d8 series a kyosho 777 diffcase is almost a perfect match

Maybe you didn't use good grease on your diff cup and o-ring?
Might need to replace them.

Default Considering a D419

Hi all,

A number of D419 buggies run at our track and they go really well.

I currently run a TLR 8ight-X Elite. I was wonder what is the durability of the HB buggy was like as well as what are the suggested hop-ups?

Thank you.

The D819 is a tank. Super durable, and as for option parts, the car is solid right out of the box. I would suggest investing in Hard Arms, Rear Carbon arm insert and aluminum servo horns. If your track is high bite you might want to pick up a few of the other option parts like 2.75 degree rear D block. Oh Yeah, last but not least, VPR Pistons and P1 bladder shock caps.

I use whatever flywheel I want with whatever shoes. For you it is clutch bell specific. The main difference between them all is width and weight. HB shoes use that little spring though. Others use the traditional style spring. If you can't get HB shoes, i'd get Mugen hard shoes.

Hello, everyone.
Which chassis brace do you use?

Aluminum? Plastic?
